I recently visited Cairo in Egypt. This busy city has traffic that is far too dangerous for humnas lat alone cats. But a few survive the city life. This cat lives in a hookah shop. Hookahs are tobacco pipes containing water, smoked in the middle east. |

| In the time of the Pharos cats were workshipped. The Sphinx is the largest single stone sculpture in the world. Built from a rock formation at the Giza Plateau just outside Cairo just in fornt of the Great pyramids. The sculpture depicts the head of a king, possibly Pharaoh Khafre, and the body of a lion. | ||
